I am so glad that we have all happily survived the supposed end of the world. Now we can look forward to Christmas and the New Year. For me, I can only wish for 2013 to come soon. 2012 has been a time of many great ups and downs. Starting this blog has given me an avenue to express myself and also to stretch myself in different areas which I never would have done otherwise. I have met some amazing people who inspire me constantly. However, it has also been a time of facing a lot of personal demons and insecurities, issues which I constantly still face. Anyways, onwards and upwards.
I am so relieved that the sky has not come crashing down on me since I put my first outfit post up. I know I have a lot to do to improve the quality…I promise to do better. However, it is a relief to know that the world still keeps revolving and it really was nothing to worry about. Strange how one little insignificant post can worry me so much?
“The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.”
(Harriet Beecher Stowe)
Hopefully this coming year will be full of new challenges and new accomplishments. I hope to not have regrets and that there will be no words left unsaid and deeds left undone.
We all need to move forward in 2013…
*Quick Note, this is another shot that Marian took of me. My outfit remains the same. In this picture, I am wearing a vintage blue tweed coat by Weekend by Max Mara (in my hand), GLUSH OOps clutch in black tweed and gold, blue trousers by HK designer Aalis, vintage cream blouse, M&S navy snake-skin heels, Bejewelled Bespoke stone rings and bracelet, Michael Kors gold watch and a pair of floral earring from a market stall in Zhuhai.
